Pineapple Benefits for Fertility
There are numerous benefits of pineapple for fertility… But that does not mean it is good for everyone and it does not mean it can be eaten all through your cycle.
Is Pineapple Good For Your Fertility?
Pineapple has so much bromelain that if you consume too much at the wrong time of your cycle it may hinder conception. So, if you want pineapple to support implantation you need to eat it at the right time.
When to Eat Pineapple?
Avoid eating pineapple in the first two weeks prior to ovulation.
Why?
It is too acidic for the sperm which can hinder conception.
This gives you an approximate 10-14 day window when eating pineapple could do you a world of good for your fertility.
Do not eat pineapple once you get a positive pregnancy test.
How is Pineapple Good for Fertility?
Pineapple is packed full of bromelaine enzymes which acts as nature’s aspirin. By thinning the blood it enables blood flow to your uterus which helps your embryo to implant and reduces the risk of miscarriage.
Bromelain has anti-inflammatory functionality which can help balance and improve your immune system. This is especially useful for women who have implantation issues which can be a common occurrence for women with inflammatory conditions. (Inflammatory conditions includes allergies, arthritis, asthma, auto-immune disorders, chronic inflammation on skin or in the body, etc.)
Furthermore bromelain is a pain reliever… And when you are not in pain life seems so much easier. Having an uplifted mood works wonders on fertility.
If you are feeling low in energy or a bit down in the dumps, I recommend eating a combination of chopped pineapple and chopped orange… It is like eating sunshine in a bowl. It will take away feelings of sadness and despair, especially ideal if you are prone to depression.
For Reasons Mentioned Above Pineapple is an Ideal Fertility Food
Remember it is the core of the pineapple you want to be eating, so it is best you buy the whole organic pineapple and chop it up yourself.
How to Eat Pineapple
You only need to eat one-third of the pineapple per day. This is about two thick slices a day of ripe pineapple. (You can tell it is ripe because it will have a sweet smell before you cut into it).
Cut the organic pineapple into disc shape slices and remove the outer skin.
Like all fruit and vegetables, they have life force energy. When you cut them open they begin to lose life force and so all fruit and vegetables are best eaten within 20 minutes of cutting them.
Place the open end of pineapple on a ceramic plate and put in fridge.
Avoid using cling film at all costs, because it is incredibly toxic and is linked to causing miscarriages.
